Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Add baking soda, salt, flour, and oats. Mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and candy-coated chocolates.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing cookies 2 inches apart.
- Press a few extra candies onto the tops of the cookies.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 20-30 minutes before baking. Avoid overbaking to keep the centers soft and chewy.
