Method
- Preheat grill to medium heat and lightly oil grates.
- Toss carrots with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.
- Grill carrots, turning occasionally, until they start to soften and develop grill marks, about 12–15 minutes.
- In a small pan, melt butter and stir in honey, brown sugar, orange juice, and cinnamon until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Brush glaze onto carrots during the last 5 minutes of grilling, turning once to coat evenly.
- Remove from grill and serve warm.
Notes
Don’t add glaze too early or it will burn. Cut carrots evenly so they cook at the same rate. If carrots are thick, par-boil for 5 minutes before grilling. Best served fresh while glaze is sticky and warm.
