Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash bananas in a bowl until mostly smooth.
- Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Add mashed bananas and stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture gently.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor. Do not overmix batter. Store at room temperature up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
