Cook Time 3 hours 15 minutes
Total Time 3 hours 35 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 –3 lbs pork ribs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove membrane from back of ribs and pat dry.
  3. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar to make dry rub.
  4. Coat ribs evenly with dry rub, pressing it into the meat.
  5. Wrap ribs tightly in foil and place on baking tray.
  6. Bake for 3 hours until meat is tender and pulling away from bone.
  7. Unwrap ribs carefully and brush with BBQ sauce.
  8. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake for 10–15 minutes until glaze is sticky.

Notes

Always remove the membrane for tender ribs. Low and slow cooking is essential—don’t rush the oven time. Brush BBQ sauce only at the end to avoid burning the sugar.
