Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange chicken and lemon slices in a baking dish.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until chicken is cooked through and golden.
- Add feta cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Broil 1–2 minutes if desired for crispier edges.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Chicken thighs stay juicier, but breasts work if cooked carefully. Add feta near the end so it keeps its texture. Store leftovers refrigerated up to 4 days.
